Tasting note
The fruity bouquet of Morellino di Scansano RISERVA DOCG of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows a complex aroma character and lots of pleasure potential. The dominant nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper create their individual texture. Strong body and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which harmoniously shows a lot of character and class with fine tannins in the mouth.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler tip: Morellino di Scansano RISERVA DOCG goes great with ribeye steak, Gruyère burger and pizza with mushrooms. Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The recommended drinking phase of this wine is in the following period: 2016 - 2021.
