About the wine

Poggio Argentiera is a relatively young winery in the heart of Maremma, near the coastal town of Albarese. Here, between a beautiful nature reserve and the Mediterranean Sea, lies the Morellino di Scansano designation of origin and the sea breeze provides an extremely healthy climate for the vines. As the grandson of Virgilio and Rita Tua, Giovanni Frascolla grew up on the family winery. After working with his father in recent years, Giovanni is now responsible for Poggio Argentiera. Of course, he is supported by a team of winemakers, the same team as Tua Rita.
