About the wine
The “second wine” from Montevertine is in a weight class that is pretty much right between the famous, powerful pergola cake and the wonderfully fresh Pian del Ciampolo. The fact that it bears the name of the winery says it all: Nowhere is the authentic Manetti style (which is also an authentic Tuscan style) expressed more clearly than in this medium-weight, robust and finesse wine.

Die hervorstechenden Nuancen von roter Pflaume, Erdbeere und Feige gestalten ihre individuelle Textur. Ein Rotwein mit kräftigem Körper und hervorstechender Säure, welcher kräftig mit satten Gerbstoffen auf Zunge und im Gaumen seine komplexe Struktur entfaltet.
