Tasting note
The standard bearer of the Azienda Briziarelli is her Sagrantino. This grape variety is grown virtually only in Umbria, in the region around Montefalco and Bevagna, where the Briziarelli cellar, built in sophisticated architecture, stands. It is a powerful wine that is known for its high aging potential. What is particularly nice about the Montefalco Sagrantino of this company is that it is pleasant to drink even in its young phase. Balsamic notes dominate the bouquet, notes of ripe fruit and leather play with fine spice. On the palate, it shows strength and winning fullness, a wine of great stature.
