About the wine
This mild white wine 2017 — Montedonico Viognier Maremma DOC crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Terenzi masters this white wine in the blooming and fertile Tuscan countryside. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this viognier with roasted poultry with lemon sauce or potatoes.

Tasting note
The Viognier grape, characterized by exotic aromas, obviously finds good conditions in the climate and on the lime-rich soil near Scansano. Her home is the northern Rhone Valley: the Condrieu region with the famous Château Grillet. Here, the variety only ripens late. It's different in Scansano: When fully ripe, the Viognier vine shows its ability to preserve not only the typical fruitiness of the variety but also a wonderful breed. The grapes are fermented in an inox tank for just under two weeks, where the must remains until bottling.
