Emil Strickler is the name of the man who pressed his way to the top of Portugal in less than 20 years. The Swiss has owned the relatively small winery since 1998. The secret recipe for his meteoric rise? It is better to produce a little but conscientiously.

Tasting note
Monte de Zambujeiro from Alentejo is a refreshing white wine with lots of citrus notes, some grapefruit and white floral scent. The juicy, citrusy acidity invigorates the wine and, together with the wonderfully long-lasting fruit and the fine herbal note on the finish, provides plenty of fresh drinking pleasure. Ideal with seafood, small snacks, salad plates.

Vinification
Grown on slate soil. Harvested by hand in small boxes, cold-fermented in steel tanks and aged on fine yeast for 5 months.
