Tasting note
The Querciabella Mongrana is Querciabella's Maremma project. The appealing red wine cuvée made from 50% Sangiovese, 25% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon is an intense ruby red. On the nose, delicate scent of red fruits paired with leather and tobacco aromas. Lively on the palate with dark fruity aromas of black cherry and currant. Soft tannin and invigorating acidity. Smooth, squeaky clean finish. Great everyday wine.

Vinification
Each type of grape is individually processed and vinified. The grapes are harvested by hand at the peak of their phenolic ripeness. After gentle fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the 10-month aging process takes place mostly in cement tanks.
