About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Il Falchetto is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny and picturesque Piedmont countryside. We have a special, dominant Cabernet Sauvignon from 2015 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Tasting note
The La Mora is presented in the glass with a concentrated ruby red colour. The bouquet includes lovely notes of ripe fruit, wild berries and coffee. The taste has a subtle spiciness (roasted aromas), which harmonizes perfectly with the rich fruit. Well-structured and with round tannin, the smooth and long-lasting finish is also convincing.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with red meat, Gruyère burgers and pizza with mushrooms.
Vinification
Mash fermentation takes place separately and lasts 10-12 days. The wine then ages for 14-16 months, partly in barriques and partly in large oak barrels.
