About the wine
With the special Mondeco DOC Dão from 2010, you will positively surprise your friends. With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta do Mondego masters this red wine in the sunny countryside of Dão.

Tasting note
Strong ruby red color Complex nose, attractive after being fresh with mint. herbs and dark berries. Balanced, complex, ripe on the palate. Tannins well integrated, structured aftertaste reminiscent of tobacco and herbs. A wine with rough edges.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, game, beef, Mediterranean cuisine, pasta & pizza and vegetables.
Vinification
All grape varieties harvested by hand and gently crushed together. Fermented in small stainless steel at a controlled temperature of below 25ºC. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel barrels. Aging in French oak casks for 12 months
