About the wine
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made Château Miraval world-famous when they chose it as their family home and got married in the chapel there. The castle also has a vineyard, which is managed by the renowned Perrin family of winemakers (Château de Beaucastel). According to Wine Spectator, Miraval Rosé is one of the best wines in the world. Tasting note
A noble, bright pink with delicate silvery reflections. Even in the nose, you can see the extraordinary elegance and complexity of Provence. The bouquet is intensely floral, with sour notes of grapefruit and vineyard peach. These fine aromas continue on the palate and present themselves in a lush, silky texture accompanied by fresh, white-fleshed fruit. The pleasant tension and perfect balance are supported by the natural freshness and minerality of the Miraval terroir, which shines with salty and lemony nuances. The finish is long, velvety and leaves a lasting impression.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with salads, grilled dishes, Mediterranean cuisine and sushi, as well as an aperitif.
Vinification
In stainless steel tanks (90%) and in oak barrels with batonnage (10%).
