Tasting note
Nicola Manferrari is considered one of Friuli's most talented winemakers and oenlogists. He knows natural methods in viticulture like only a few. The steep slopes of Collio begin right behind its Borgo, which are probably among the best things to find in the region. A special find is Milleuve, a cuvée of Friulano (Tocai), Sauvignon and Riesling Renano: crisp, fresh, wonderfully fragrant and smooth, lively on the finish. Overall, an eye-catching wine because, like all Nicola Manferrari whites, it gains even more aromatic richness through aging and is completely present even after seven to eight years.

Vinification
Die Vinifikation fand wie folgt statt: Nicola Manferrari gilt als einer der talentiertesten Winzer und Oenlogen des Friaul. Auf naturnahe Methoden im Rebbau versteht er sich wie nur wenige. Gleich hinter seinem Borgo beginnen die steilen Lagen des Collio, die wohl zum Besten gehören was in der Region zu finden ist. Eine besondere Trouvaille ist Milleuve, eine Cuvée aus Friulano (Tocai), Sauvignon und Riesling Renano: Knackig frisch, herrlich duftend und geschmeidig, lebhaft im Abgang. Insgesamt ein auffälliger Wein, weil er wie alle Weissen von Nicola Manferrari durch etwas Reife noch an aromatischer Fülle hinzugewinnt und auch nach sieben bis acht Jahren völlig präsent ist.
