About the wine
Patrick Javillier, a winemaker “de père en fils” with roots in Meursault, is known for his care and perfection. Originally a trained electrical engineer, he took over the family vines in the 1970s, expanded the property and managed it. Today, his legacy is successfully continued by his daughter Marion and son-in-law Pierre-Emmanuel.

Tasting note
Domaine Patrick Javillier, one of the leading addresses in Meursault, vinifies its Chardonnay grapes with great precision. The grapes all come from old, carefully managed plots and are traditionally aged in barriques, using only a small amount of new oak. The gentle expansion method optimally expresses the terroir. The result is an elegant, complex Chardonnay with a perfect balance of richness and minerality.
