If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this powerful Chardonnay 2014 — Meursault AOC! The gravelly, calcareous soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Chardonnay. The winemaker from the French winery Dom. Henri Delagrange et Fils knows how to use them and delights us with this white wine. Tasting note
Brilliant golden yellow color. Delicate nose with fresh, mineral citrus aromas and subtle toasted notes. An elegant start on the palate, again with fresh notes. Rich in finesse and delicate, with lovely juiciness.
Culinary recommendation
An elegant accompaniment to seafood, fish dishes or veal.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully picked by hand. After pressing, fermentation takes place in 228 l barrels and 300 l tonneaux. 20% new wooden barrels are used for the twelve-month aging period. The quantity produced is just 4,000 bottles.
