About the wine
Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this dominant Chardonnay 2018 — Meursault AC! The loamy, calcareous soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Chardonnay. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Louis Latour knows how to use them and delights us with this white wine. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Chardonnay with asparagus or poultry.

Tasting note
The Meursault is pale yellow in the glass. On the nose, it shows subtle aromas of exotic fruits and brioche. Full-bodied and round on the palate with notes of almonds and a hint of vanilla. The aftertaste is wonderfully mineral!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with vegetables, seafood, grilled meats, veal.
Vinification
Malolactic fermentation traditionally takes place in large wooden barrels. The wine is then aged for 8-12 months in burgundy barrels from the in-house coopery.
