About the wine

This wine was created at the end of the 1970s from the passion of Giancarlo Palla, the owner of Azienda Agricola Loredan Gasparini and already well-known red wine producer at the time, when he set up a small production of spumante using the classic bottle fermentation method. At first, the wine was only intended for our own consumption, but over the years and thanks to the efforts of enthusiasts who have passed it on, we have begun to offer it to our customers. They discovered an honest and elegant expression of Chardonnay. In the 1980s, it even received one of the highest ratings ever given to an Italian sparkling wine by the renowned American magazine Wine Spectator.
