About the wine
Contratto already looks back on 150 years of eventful history. The winery specializes in Methodo Classico, which is no coincidence. Because as early as the 1920s and 30s, Contratto was able to produce fine wines for the Vatican and the royal families. In fact, Contratto was also exported to the remotest corners of the British Empire and enjoyed there. Since 2011, Contratto has been owned by Giorgio Rivetti — a very committed and experienced winemaker, who today continues the business with his family. Thanks to his innovative and tireless efforts, Contratto has remained a popular and successful brand.

A wonderful, tasty and elegant sparkling wine, which is dominated by the unmistakable character of Pinot Noir. Intense aromas of flowers, berries and cherries with a hint of yeast are accompanied by a fleshy and creamy complexity. At the same time, you can recognize subtle cinnamon aromas. On the palate, the beautiful structure unravels and a long-lasting finish makes this sparkling wine an unforgettable drinking experience.
