About the wine
This limited edition top wine, awarded 95 points by James Suckling, comes from a rare Pomerol grape selection and sets new standards for German Merlot.

Tasting note
The Merlot Mon Église starts with an intense nose of blueberries, dark cherries, delicate herbal spices and vanilla from well-dosed wood. Powerful on the palate with fine, silky tannins and vital acidity. It has very good concentration and a wonderful berry aroma intensity in the long aftertaste.
Vinification
The Merlot grapes were harvested manually on September 29, followed by a 10-day maceration in a wooden tub. After pressing, the wine aged in new and used oak barrels of various formats.
