About the wine

At Provins, the largest Swiss wine producer, over 4400 cooperative members deliver the income from the vineyards between Sierre and Lake Geneva. The company focuses on quality and produces a good 20 of today's 50 Valais grape varieties. The “Les Titans” line was created in honor of all those who drove thousands of kilometers of tunnels into the mountains under extreme conditions. Grape varieties whose aromas are reminiscent of the scents of the mountains are traditionally vinified, but the wines mature extremely unusually: bottled in oak barriques, they are brought to a 300-meter deep tunnel at 1500 m above sea level, where they rest at a constant temperature of 7°C all year round. This unique method was developed by Provins oenologist Luc Sermier and has already received 22 medals worldwide.
