Tasting note
A balanced, fruity, rich and long-lasting wine, ruby red with slight violet reflections. Its quite strong and complex bouquet shows aromas of stone fruit (cherry, plum, a hint of peach), ripe berries (blackberry, raspberry, currant), clove, vanilla and aspects of dried fruit. Meaty tannins and a dry start as well as a beautifully harmonious, full and soft structure enchant the palate; in the back aroma, the aromas mentioned are once again beautiful, rounded off by smoke and toast notes and a touch of minerals.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled or fried beef.
