About the wine
A characterful, biodynamically produced Merlot from South Africa, fermented in traditional clay amphoras. It impresses with aromas of dark berries, plums and spices, with a soft tannin structure and elegant balance. A unique, natural wine with depth and a long aftertaste.

Tasting note
Strong body and distinctive acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows a lot of character and class.
Culinary recommendation
Goes particularly well with braised beef, leg of lamb or game dishes. It is also an excellent choice with ripe hard cheese, mushroom risotto or dark chocolate.
Vinification
Aged for 16 - 27 months in 100% new barriques
