Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and picturesque landscape of South Tyrol. Tasting note
Medium ruby red. On the nose, there are aromas of red berries, some cassis and a fine, warm spiciness. On the palate, the wine is youthful and carefree, with finely woven tannins, freshly fruity and with a juicy texture. The finish is medium-long and has a harmonious aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect for fried poultry and risotto dishes.
Vinification
The Merlot grapes come from various locations around Margreid. After the grapes have been lightly crushed, they are mashed in steel tanks. The aging takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels for eight months.
