About the wine
This strong Pinot Noir 2013 — Mercurey AC is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! This Pinot Noir draws its strength and energy from the gravelly, calcareous soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Joseph Drouhin transforms it into a real treat with great sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Pinot Noir is very good to serve with duck or red meat.

Tasting note
The first impression on the nose: berry fruit (currants, cassis, wild berries). In the second approach, subtle spicy and maturing aromas develop, which are accompanied by fine leather and tobacco notes. On the palate, a classic, structured body is revealed, whose fruiting and aromatic diversity are fully developed in the lasting finale.
