About the wine
Vlado Krauthaker, owner of the Krauthaker winery, contributes to the rich winemaking tradition of the Kutjevo region. At the time of its founding, the winery owned 1 hectare of vineyards; by 2018, the winery became the owner of 32 hectares of vineyards. Particular attention is paid to the autochthonous Graevina variety. The quality and success of Krauthaker wines can be recognized by numerous international awards.

Tasting note
The playful aromas of MERCS of fruit compote, spices and tobacco express a lot of finesse with a very special structure. The playful nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper then show their own character. It will be remembered: its deep ruby red gives every occasion a special touch. Strong body and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows plenty of character and class.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler recommends this MERCS for ribeye steak, Gruyère burger and red meat. Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The recommended drinking phase of this wine is in the following period: 2 - 7 years after harvest.
