Tasting note
The nose reveals an inviting bouquet with fresh fruity aromas of pineapple and grapefruit. The minerality (flint) gives the wine additional complexity. With a fresh start, this Vermentino di Gallura impresses the palate, accompanied by crunchy acidity. The multi-layered aromas of berries (gooseberries, white currants) develop immediately, combined with herbal notes of hay and nutty notes of almonds. A successful Vermentino that provides full drinking pleasure even on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with amuse bouche, hors d'oeuvre, antipasti, fish dishes, penne al tonno and spaghetti alle vongole.
