About the wine
In 1930, the Terreni alla Maggia agricultural estate was established in the Maggia river delta. The approximately 130 ha agricultural and wine-growing area is located in the municipalities of Ascona and Locarno. Since 1950, wine has been cultivated in addition to agriculture

Tasting note
Intense, complex and elegant. Roasted almonds, spicy spices including black pepper, dried plums and black currants. Concludes with notes of bitter cocoa and fruit in spirit. Dark garnet red, ruby reflections. Dry, full-bodied and enveloping. Texture velvety and dense tannins. Excellent, persistence, fresh finish accompanied by a slight spiciness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with barbecues, pasta, cheese, Asian dishes
Vinification
Aged part in steel tanks, part in French barriques for 12-15 months.
