About the wine
The Mega Spileo Estate Grand Cave is a smooth, fresh red from 2016 that’s all about easy enjoyment. It’s an ideal pick for relaxed evenings with friends or paired with a tasty meal, delivering genuine craft and authentic vibes without any fuss.

Tasting note
Intense red. The aroma is dominated by white pepper, black fruit and botanical notes on a background of chocolate and coffee. The taste is balanced, fine and complex, with balanced acidity and elegant tannins. Long and pleasant aftertaste with notes of spices and chocolate.
Vinification
After receipt, the grapes are destemmed, followed by maceration before fermentation and they remain with their skins until the end of fermentation. The wine is then transported to the wine cellar for aging in new French oak barrels. It is stored there for at least 2.5 years and then a further 2.5 years in bottle storage to achieve the right balance. The wine is not subjected to any stabilization and filtration treatment to improve its taste quality.
