About the wine
The Hess Collection Winery was founded in 1978 by Swiss Donald Hess and is now one of the leading wineries in California. In 2012, the new generation took over the fate of the winery under the management of Donald's daughter Ursula and her husband Timothy Persson. Dave Guffy is also part of this team. Dave has been Chief Winemaker at Hess Collection Winery since 1999. The wines from Mount Veeder receive top awards from Parker and Wine Spectator with astonishing regularity.

Tasting note
Intense aromas of bright red cherries and raspberries. Followed by cedarwood notes and black pepper, this wine captures the essence of Paso Robles. Soft tannins and long aftertaste.

Goes well with grilled meat or salmon, fried or grilled mushrooms, onions and peppers, sausages and aged cheese such as gouda.
