Tasting note
Impenetrable purple. On the nose, an intense, ripe aroma, with notes of opulent black fruit and beguiling, exotic spices. On the palate, rich, warming fruit aromas are revealed, paired with distinctive mineral notes. The scent of precious wood is seamlessly integrated and elegantly and precisely woven into the compact structure. Once again, a fantastic vintage from Mauro.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spicy cheese, lamb, game, roasts.
Vinification
Vinified in steel tanks, then aged for 15 months in French oak barriques and foudres.
