Tasting note
Ruby red color. Elegantly spicy and complex bouquet, reminiscent of blueberries, raspberries, cocoa and vanilla. Despite the good tannin content, the Masetto Nero is full and particularly harmonious in taste. Long-lasting finish
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with all meat dishes and cheeses.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation for 10 days with numerous stir-ins of the pomace hat, followed by an extended maceration period and malolactic fermentation. The refinement takes place partly in barriques and partly in large wooden barrels and takes about 18 months. Finally, the wine ages in the bottle for a further 6 months.
