Tasting note
The wine has intense fruity aromas. Fresh strawberries, raspberries, cherries and flowers predominate, with subtle notes of anise, fennel and sweet vanilla, as well as roasted aromas and earthy slate. Fresh and juicy on the palate, velvety tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game, poultry, beef, mushrooms.
Vinification
Due to the difference in ripeness between the upper and lower parts of the La Mallola vineyard, it is divided into several areas that are fermented separately (microvinifications). Once fermentation in oak barrels is complete, the wines mature in French oak barrels for 14 months.
