Together with two friends, Briton Martin Miller developed the gin of the same name in 1998, which is distilled using a traditional process in a pot still plant that is over 100 years old. The ingredients are concentrated on a more classic botanical mix: The gin is refined with juniper, coriander, angelica, licorice root, cinnamon bark (cassia), Florentine iris (Iris germanica) and dried lemon, bitter orange and lime peels. Nutmeg provides a slightly exotic touch. Pure glacial water from Iceland is added before bottling. The reference to Iceland is also shown on the bottle: You can see a kind of nautical map showing the route from England to Iceland.
