About the wine
Founded in 1833 by Vincenzo Florio, Cantine Florio continues the Marsala tradition to this day. A fortified wine that is named after the Sicilian port city of the same name. The house is particularly known for its spiced Marsala variants. Like port wine or sherry, these are mixed with pure alcohol and are only produced by a few houses. www.duca.it

Tasting note
Amber with red reflections On the nose, intense, complex aromas with notes of raisins, candied citrus and leather. Pleasant sweetness and aromatic diversity on the palate. Infinitely long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with blue cheese or dessert.
Vinification
It is enriched with alcohol after fermentation in a cement tank and matures in barrique barrels for 6 years.
