Marco de Bartoli’s Marsala Superiore Oro Riserva Vigna La Miccia is a sweet, semi-dry treat from the sunny island of Pantelleria. Crafted from Grillo grapes, it offers a balanced sweetness with a smooth structure, shaped by careful aging and genuine winemaking care. Tasting note
Innovative, modern expression of a great, long tradition, fruity, delicate, showing the grape variety, fresh citrus aromas, Mediterranean herbs and flowers play with the warm aromas of light oxidation, roasted walnut, toffee, dried apple.
Vinification
Low yields, selective reading and sorting by hand. Natural sedimentation, no filtration, fermentation with the vineyard's own yeasts in temperature-controlled steel tanks, pomace brandy added with fresh must for sprinkling, aging over 4 years in French oak barrels.
