Tasting note
Rich ruby red in the glass. On the nose, aromas of ripe berries, with hints of sour cherries. Soft, full start on the palate, rich, fruity body. Harmonious, long-lasting finish.
Vinification
Amarone grape pomace is added to the already fermented Valpolicella, which causes renewed fermentation. This gives the wine more color intensity, richness and the typical taste nuances of an amarone. The aging in large barrels takes around 10-12 months.
