Tasting note
The KIRCHWEINGARTEN vineyard is a slightly sloping, southwest-facing slope at about 180-190 meters above sea level, located directly under Höflein church. The nose shows aromas of ripe plums, heart cherries and candied orange zest, subtly underlined with delicate nougat tones. Juicy, with pleasant fruit sweetness and fine, well-integrated tannins, elegant with good length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game dishes, steaks, as well as all other dark meats and stews.
Vinification
Angaben über Vinifizierung: Spontane und offene Maischegärung bei 30°C. Ein Teil der Trauben wird nicht entrappt, um die Intensität der Aromen zu erhöhen. Es folgt der Ausbau während 18 Monaten in Eichenfässern.
