Markowitsch Göttlesbrunn Rot blends Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch into a fresh, lively red that’s all about easy enjoyment. It’s a great companion for casual get-togethers or a relaxed evening, offering genuine flavors without any fuss.

Tasting note
The bouquet is warm oak and a wonderful dark berry aroma consisting of cherries, blackberries and blueberries. Very elegant and densely woven on the palate, wonderful fruit sweetness, wonderfully polished tannin, opulent body, persistent with an enormous length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game and dark meat dishes with stronger sauces, with soft cheeses.
Vinification
With its gentle hilly and forest landscape, Göttlesbrunn stands for a wide variety of soils and microclimates. Especially in cooler, wooded areas, with their calcareous soils, the Burgundy varieties produce wines of crystalline structure and high complexity. Aged in French oak barriques for 18 months.
