About the wine
The grapes for Marino Tinto come from old Garnacha vines that grow on granite soils in the villages of San Martín de Valdeiglesias and Cadalso de los Vidrios.

Tasting note
On the nose, this red wine is open and fruity with ripe cherries and wild berries, notes of Mediterranean herbs and subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is juicy and expressive with fine-grained, velvety tannins. The alcohol is wonderfully integrated; the high altitudes keep the garnacha fresh. The culinary experience ends with a persistent, delicate aftertaste with lots of fruit.
Vinification
The manually harvested and destemmed grapes were fermented with natural yeasts after a ten-day maceration. The Marino Tinto was then aged for eight months in used 500-liter barrels.
