About the wine
A top-class wine! This fine wine from Sella & Mosca matures in barriques for 14 months and in large wooden barrels for a further twelve months. Its scent is seductively reminiscent of red berries, tobacco and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is complex with fine tannins.

Tasting note
Shiny garnet red with ruby reflections. The nose has a rich scent of red berries, warm spices, some black chocolate, tobacco and cedarwood. Very diverse and complex on the palate. With wonderfully smooth tannins, aromas of ripe, red berries and elegant roasted aromas. An extremely elegant wine with excellent length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with oven-baked poultry, T-bone steak, venison or aged cheese.
Vinification
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are harvested as late harvests in accordance with strict quality requirements and gently pressed. Mash fermentation takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. The young wine then matures for 14 months in French Tronçais barriques and a further 12 months in large oak barrels. This is followed by an 18-month bottle rest before the wine is sold.
