Tasting note
Rich, dark ruby red with purple reflections. Very open and memorable nose, full of blackberries, dark cherries and pepper. Marchesale is very present on the palate, showing dense tannin, fine enamel, beautiful elegance. Long, lovely aftertaste with earthy tones.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with pappardelle with wild boar sauce, grilled meat, suckling pig and medium to long-aged cheese such as pecorino or 30-36 months aged Parmesan.
