Tasting note
Intense ruby red color, lush bouquet with rich fruity notes of plum and cherry jam, with aromas of pepper, tobacco and cocoa. The taste is warm and full, with firm tannins and a delicate aftertaste. An impressive wine.
Culinary recommendation
A classic accompaniment to red meat, but can also accompany hearty first courses of traditional Italian cuisine.
Vinification
Mash fermentation, then maturation for 14-16 months in new and used barriques, 6 months bottle storage.
