Tasting note
The intensely scented nose combines scents of plums and wild fruits with an elegant barrique note, also a subtle spiciness. A strong primitivo fruit, characterized by black tea notes, ripe blackberries and a touch of cinnamon in the explosive palate aroma, now also balsamic notes; very skilfully integrated tannins, characteristic and yet with a fine melt; persisting intensely until the slightly tobacco-tinged finale
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with starters such as house pâté or wild terrines, dark mushroom sauces, stews, dark poultry such as duck or guinea fowl, steak variants, grilled meat, semi-hard and hard cheeses such as Sbrinz or mountain cheese.
