About the wine
Colomé is not only the oldest, but also the highest winery in Argentina. Some vines grow here at over 3000 meters above sea level. The proud owner of this wine oasis in the middle of the mountains is the Swiss Donald Hess.

Tasting note
The playful aromas of fruit compote, spices and tobacco express a lot of character with a very special structure. Subsequently, the striking nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper reveal their own character. A fruity red wine with a strong body and dominant acidity, which harmoniously develops its complex structure with finely developed tannins on the tongue and palate.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes great with Gruyère burgers, pizza with mushrooms and ribeye steak. Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The recommended enjoyment phase of this wine is in the following period: 2019 - 2026.
