About the wine
“Encuentro” means meeting - coming together. Over the last 20 years, winemaker Mariano Di Paola has always combined the richness of the terroir with the preferences of international wine consumers. In 1997, for example, he created the Encuentro Barrel Select, where two or more varieties come together. The new Encuentro Malbec, which reflects the true expression of variety and terroirs and at the same time creates a wine for a perfect coming together, is a wine to enjoy, embrace and celebrate with friends and family.

Tasting note
Intense garnet red. On the nose, a varied aroma of fresh red and black fruits with a subtle note of violet. Full-bodied tannin with rich aromas of chocolate and marmalade on the palate. An intense and complex Malbec with well-rounded acidity and a velvety finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with charcoal grilled beef and lamb.
Vinification
The wine is aged for 12 months in 50% new and once used French oak barrels and 50% new American oak barrels
