Mariano Di Paola, chief oenologist at Rutini, says about this wine: Rutini Malbec Coleccion is a refined wine with a deep red color. Concentrated on the nose with notes of wild berries, tobacco and vanilla. On the palate, it is strong with black berries and a long-lasting finish with a slight peppery note. This wine is the most famous Rutini wine in Argentina and is considered the perfect wine to give as a gift or to celebrate a special occasion!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with charcoal grilled beef and lamb, as well as game dishes and medium-aged cheese.
Vinification
Stemmed, maceration followed by malolactic acid degradation for 30 days. 80% of the wine is aged in new French oak barrels and 20% new American oak barrels for 12 months.
