About the wine
In 1948, Cottinelli s, who immigrated from Italy, pressed the first Chur Blauburgunder; in the seventies, they moved to Malans. Today, Cottinelli cultivates a total of 22 hectares of vineyards from Maienfeld to Chur. The company invests a lot of time and commitment in winegrowing, cellar technology and handling barriques. The intensive efforts to improve quality, the conviction that the quality of a wine starts in the vineyard, the careful use of natural resources and consistent implementation with the intention of natural, integrated production are reflected in the quality of the wines.

Tasting note
A ruby red wine with a refreshing scent of ripe blueberries. On the palate, there is a lively fruitiness, supported by soft, velvety tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with red meats and traditional Bündner specialities.
Vinification
The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested by hand with great care to preserve only the best qualities. Fermentation and aging take place exclusively in stainless steel tanks.
