Tasting note
On the nose, it smells wonderful of black fruits, currants, blackberries, cherries and shy vanilla accents. Its intensity and fullness gently warm the taste buds. The fine and elegantly integrated tannins show a long and persistent presence. A great accompaniment, especially to hearty dishes such as stews or game dishes.
Culinary recommendation
Great with stews, roasts, pot roasts and game, blue cheese and aged cheese. Also ideal with pasta filled with meat or cheese.
Vinification
Aged in barriques.
