About the wine
Dark fruits, leather, chocolate and pepper. Elegant, dense, charming — a Macho with depth. Old Monastrell vines and 17 months of oak bodybuilding. Goes well with fireplace, veal shank or compliments.
Tasting note
On the nose, a true aromatic spectacle of ripe black berries, fine licorice, dark chocolate, oriental spices and fine roasted aromas. On the palate, it is voluminous, velvety and impressively structured — with ripe tannins, fresh acidity and a finish that just doesn't want to end.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled meat, lamb chops, spicy stews or strong hard cheese.
Vinification
17 months in new French barriques.
