About the wine
Maçanella impresses with its unexpected freshness and surprising fruitiness. On the tongue, juicy notes of red berries and ripe cherries develop, accompanied by a fine spice reminiscent of licorice. The velvety soft tannins give it a smooth texture that perfectly rounds off the wine. Despite its lightness, it impresses with a long, elegant finish that highlights the finesse of this exceptional wine.

Maçanella delights with its unexpected lightness and surprising fruitiness. The velvety soft tannins give it a wonderfully smooth texture, which harmoniously rounds off the wine. Despite its lightness, it has an impressively long, elegant finish that underlines the finesse of this exceptional wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with cheese platters, vegetable stew, brasato, pork tenderloin, paella, porcini mushrooms and cheese pie.
Vinification
Aged for 12 months in 225l lightly toasted barrique (French oak), followed by 24 months of bottle aging.
