“Cuvée Luis, because it doesn't always have to be Lagrein from South Tyrol!” The Vernatsch gives Merlot the right whistle in this cuvée. The aromas of black cherries, plums, cinnamon, cloves and softwoods are typical Merlot. The vernatsch contributes a light mint note and a fresh, lively acidity. The successful cuvée is tasty and slightly lively, with subtle wood construction and moderate tannins — ideal for simpler but also hearty dishes, or simply with roasted chestnuts in autumn.
