About the wine
A must for connoisseurs, this dominant red wine 2016 — LUÌ Cabernet Sauvignon Veneto IGT, wooden box! Fertile and beautiful landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Pasqua conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gruyère burgers or red meat.
Tasting note
This Cabernet Sauvignon, refined with a small portion of Corvina, was aged in French oak barrels by Hennessy for 12 months. The heavily roasted barrels are 10 years old and were used to produce excellent cognacs such as XO, Napoleon III and Paradis. The special aging gives the wine sweet, delicate notes of bourbon vanilla, mascarpone, rum, almonds accompanied by delicate herbal, vegetable and hay aromas. The result is an elegant, soft wine with velvety tannins and an aftertaste of coconut, vanilla, dried fruit and smoky notes.
